The Story in 60 Seconds

Warren Mitchell argues that wide receiver Dont'e Thornton Jr. may be nearing the end of his time with the Las Vegas Raiders. Thornton will not be activated for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams, leaving him at risk of returning to injured reserve for the rest of the 2026 season if not added to the 53-man roster by October 28.

Head coach Klint Kubiak publicly stated that Thornton needs to "show us something" in practice to earn playing time. With fellow receiver Jack Bech expected to return soon, Mitchell contends that Thornton has struggled to make an impression and may not play another snap for the team.
