The Chargers will have to navigate yet another injury to their offensive line. Days after learning that left tackle Rashawn Slater will be shut down with a high ankle sprain, we’re now learning that right tackle Joe Alt is expected…

Los Angeles Chargers right tackle Joe Alt is expected to miss Week 5 due to a neck injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Alt sustained the injury during Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks, where he was limited to just 26 snaps. He is currently rehabbing the issue, and the team does not plan to place him on injured reserve at this time.
Alt's absence compounds major offensive line issues for the Chargers, who recently lost left tackle Rashawn Slater to a high ankle sprain. With swing tackle Trey Pipkins already on injured reserve, the team has turned to rookies Travis Burke and Logan Taylor alongside veteran Trevor Penning to protect quarterback Justin Herbert.
