The Los Angeles Chargers will need to make a decision on Daiyan Henley's future this offseason. It's hard to see it being an easy one.

Bolt Beat's G.C. Bellchamber argues that the Los Angeles Chargers face a complicated contract decision regarding linebacker Daiyan Henley ahead of the 2027 offseason. While Henley has established himself as a defensive leader and elite tackler, his ongoing struggles in pass coverage raise questions about whether the franchise should commit to a lucrative long-term extension.
According to the report, Henley could command between $17 million and $18 million annually, representing a significant increase from his 2026 cap hit. However, Bellchamber notes that the Chargers may feel compelled to retain him due to thin depth across their linebacker room.
