A hypothetical trade pitch discussed by media personality Nick Wright proposes the New York Jets acquire Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. The proposal envisions the Jets offering up to three potential top-12 picks in exchange for the star quarterback if the 0-3 Chargers decide to rebuild under head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Writer Pankti Parmar notes that executing such a blockbuster move faces a major obstacle because Herbert has a full no-trade clause in his five-year, $262.5 million extension.
