The Los Angeles Chargers continue to stand firm on their trade stance with just over two weeks until the league-wide deadline.

Los Angeles Chargers general manager Joe Hortiz continues to publicly project that the team will stand pat at the upcoming trade deadline, according to reports from Tom Pelissero and Jeremy Fowler. Following a winless 0-6 start to the season under head coach Mike McDaniel, writer G.C. Bellchamber argues that the Chargers must shift their focus to planning for 2027 and actively become sellers before the November 10 deadline.
Bellchamber suggests the franchise should acquire future draft capital by considering trades for veterans such as Khalil Mack, Donte Jackson, Dalvin Tomlinson, and Denzel Perryman. Although Hortiz currently maintains a quiet public stance, the writer expects that position could change as the deadline approaches.
