The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 24-9 on Sunday, leveling their regular-season record at 4-4. Despite failing to record a first down across their opening six drives under head coach Sean McVay, the Rams rallied late in the first half following a 40-yard reception by Tutu Atwell to take a 10-9 lead into halftime.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford and the Rams expanded the lead in the second half, highlighted by an 11-play touchdown drive and a Puka Nacua touchdown following a Trent McDuffie interception. The defense forced two total turnovers against Justin Herbert, though cornerback Jaylen Watson exited in the third quarter after aggravating a right shoulder injury.
