Rams coach Sean McVay says Myles Garrett will be cleared to practice this week but the team is waiting to see if he can play against the Commanders.

Los Angeles Rams edge rusher Myles Garrett will return to practice this week, head coach Sean McVay announced on Monday. The Rams are opening Garrett's 21-day practice window after he spent weeks on injured reserve following knee surgery after the season opener. However, McVay emphasized that the team will proceed cautiously before deciding when Garrett will play in a game, including Sunday's matchup against the Washington Commanders.
Garrett was acquired from the Cleveland Browns in June in exchange for Jared Verse, a first-round pick, and future selections. In other injury news, McVay stated tight end Terrance Ferguson has a good chance to resume practicing, while cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson are being evaluated following injuries sustained during Sunday's win over the Chargers.
