Former Rams running back and Pro Football Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk announced that he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. The 53-year-old Super Bowl champion shared the news on the Caring Neurologist podcast with Dr. Sandeep Thakkar, noting that he has been managing the central nervous system disorder for about 18 months after first experiencing hand rigidity while golfing.
Faulk stated that early detection and proper treatment have allowed him to maintain an active lifestyle without major disruption. The 2000 NFL MVP, who currently serves as head coach at Southern University, noted that while minor tremors and rigidity persist, his condition has remained stable, and he encourages others to seek early medical evaluations.
