Ty Dieffenbach, making his first UCLA start following Nico Iamaleava's injury, passes for 264 yards and the Bruins beat Wisconsin 17-7 to stay unbeaten.

Quarterback Ty Dieffenbach threw for 264 yards in his first career start to lead the No. 12 UCLA Bruins to a 17-7 victory over Wisconsin at the Rose Bowl on Saturday. Starting in place of the injured Nico Iamaleava, Dieffenbach completed 22 of 33 passes and orchestrated a fourth-quarter touchdown drive. The win secured bowl eligibility for head coach Bob Chesney's team and kept UCLA undefeated.
UCLA's defense anchored the victory by limiting Wisconsin to 214 total yards and just 66 passing yards. Despite the Badgers holding UCLA running back Wayne Knight to 29 all-purpose yards, Knight scored a one-yard touchdown in the second quarter, while Anthony Woods sealed the win with a fourth-quarter touchdown run.
