The Miami Dolphins do not have a sack through the first two weeks of the 2026 NFL season. Jeff Hafley left no doubt whose job it is to fix that. The Miami Dolphins‘ defense has endured a baptism by fire…
Miami Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley addressed the team's defensive struggles after failing to record a single sack through the first two weeks of the 2026 NFL season. Opposing quarterbacks Kirk Cousins and Brock Purdy both produced strong outings against Miami. Hafley took direct responsibility for fixing the absent pass rush, noting he plans to adapt schemes and player positioning.
Hafley cited his earlier coaching experience in Green Bay, where schematic changes and adjustments were required to generate pressure. The Dolphins are also awaiting defensive reinforcements, with Chop Robinson recovering from a concussion and Kenneth Grant expected to return from injured reserve.
