Kyler Murray has helped Minnesota remain unbeaten, but his individual numbers have failed to impress ESPN analyst Seth Walder. A favorable matchup awaits after the bye.

ESPN analyst Seth Walder has abandoned his preseason prediction that Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray would finish among the NFL's top 12 in Total QBR. Despite Minnesota's 5-0 start to the 2026 season, Walder cited Murray's slow statistical beginning, noting he ranked 27th in the metric even after an improved Week 5 performance.
Through four appearances, Murray has totaled 662 passing yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, alongside 93 rushing yards. While Minnesota's defense has carried the team by allowing a league-low 12.8 points per game, Murray will have an opportunity to elevate his numbers against the Indianapolis Colts following the Vikings' Week 6 bye.
