A couple of Vikings veterans went to social media following the game. One did so to praise his teammates, the other to defend his play.

Minnesota Vikings veterans Kyle Van Noy and Aaron Jones took to social media following the team's 16-10 Week 7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Van Noy shared a video offering praise to teammates Blake Cashman, Will Reichard, and Harrison Smith for their indispensable performances in the win. Meanwhile, Jones responded to online criticism of his play by stating, "I am Elite! Put some respect on my name."
Writer K. Joudry argues that while Jones may not presently be an elite runner, he remains an elite leader and critical piece of Minnesota's attack. Jones exited Sunday's game with a knee issue, though ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the injury is not considered significant and described him as day to day ahead of the Vikings' Week 8 matchup against the Detroit Lions.
