The Minnesota Vikings hosted free-agent wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster for a workout on Wednesday, according to Tom Pelissero. The 29-year-old veteran previously spent time with the New York Giants this past offseason before his release in mid-August, and he also recently worked out for the New York Jets without securing a practice squad spot.
Minnesota's interest comes after signing veteran receiver Odell Beckham Jr. last week. While Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison missed Sunday's victory over the Saints with a hamstring injury, he is expected to return after the team's Week 6 bye, potentially limiting roster space for Smith-Schuster unless injuries persist.
