Mike Vrabel’s Browns connection makes Zak Zinter an obvious Patriots trade target

The New England Patriots are dealing with depth concerns along their offensive line after starting right guard Mike Onwenu was placed on season-ending injured reserve. Veteran Greg Van Roten has stepped into the starting lineup, with backup center Ben Brown also managing injuries since training camp. Due to the limited interior depth, Cleveland Browns guard Zak Zinter has emerged as a potential trade target for New England.

Zinter, who was selected by Cleveland in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, played right guard at Michigan and currently serves as a backup left guard. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel previously spent the 2024 season as a coaching and personnel consultant for the Browns, where he worked closely with their offensive linemen.
