The 2026 NFL season hasn’t exactly gone according to script for Jameis Winston. Despite starting a few games for the New York Giants, the quarterback had to take a seat on the sidelines following disappointing performances. But that didn’t stop…

New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston has been named to the board of directors for Florida State University's Seminole Boosters. Winston joins Rob Murphy and Jeremy Cloud as new board members aiming to support FSU student-athletes and athletics programs. The announcement follows Winston being moved to the bench by the Giants in favor of J.J. McCarthy in Week 7.
Winston previously won the Heisman Trophy while at Florida State and was inducted into the school's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2025. During the 2026 NFL season, Winston started four games and appeared in six for New York after Jaxson Dart suffered a season-ending injury in Week 2.
