New York Giants legend Eli Manning cautioned Jaxson Dart not to view 2026 as a "wasted year" following the latter's knee injury.

Former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning advised injured quarterback Jaxson Dart not to let his season go to waste following a knee injury. Speaking to ESPN Radio's Gary Myers, Manning encouraged the fellow Ole Miss product to stay engaged by watching film, learning the system, and serving as a helpful resource for current starter Jameis Winston.
Dart is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season due to his injury. Writer Jake Elman of GMEN HQ endorsed Manning's advice, arguing that Dart should actively support Winston as the Giants aim to build on their 3-1 start to the season.
