The New York Giants announced on October 3, 2026, the elevation of quarterback Jake Haener and outside linebacker Trace Ford ahead of Week 4. Both players have been brought up to bolster the team's roster for the upcoming matchup.
Haener was originally a fourth-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Fresno State. After three seasons with New Orleans, he was waived and subsequently joined the Giants' organization.
