New York Giants place RB Tyrone Tracy (hamstring) on Injured Reserve. General Manager Joe Schoen addresses the media before the bye week.

The New York Giants have placed running back Tyrone Tracy on Injured Reserve due to a hamstring injury suffered against the Houston Texans. Tracy must miss at least the next four games before returning to the active roster. In a corresponding move, the Giants signed running back Greg Desrosiers from the Los Angeles Chargers' practice squad to their 53-man roster.
Additionally, the team signed veteran defensive lineman Dean Lowry to their practice squad and terminated the practice squad contract of wide receiver Jason Brownlee. Giants players now have a five-day break before returning on Monday, November 2nd, while General Manager Joe Schoen held a press conference on Tuesday.
