Harris expressed frustration with the Giants' running back rotation following Sunday's loss.

The New York Giants have released running back Najee Harris just two days after he started in Sunday's 34-27 loss to the Saints. Harris gained just two yards on four carries before publicly venting his frustration with the team's backfield rotation. League sources confirmed the release following the back's critical postgame comments about his inability to get into a rhythm.
Head coach John Harbaugh publicly responded to the remarks, noting that rhythm and touches must be earned on the field. The Giants rank 30th in the NFL in yards per carry among running backs, leaving the remaining workload to Cam Skattebo, Tyrone Tracy Jr., and Devin Singletary.
