The Story in 60 Seconds

Two-time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning spoke about the pressures of following in the footsteps of his older brother, Peyton Manning. Speaking with Michael Strahan on the Hustle Like You're Broke Podcast, Eli explained that once Peyton became the first overall pick in 1998, he realized he could not compete against his brother and chose to focus solely on his own game and teammates.

Rather than attending Tennessee like Peyton, Eli played at Ole Miss before being selected first overall in 2004 and traded to the New York Giants. Eli went on to win two Super Bowls and two Super Bowl MVPs, noting that despite having more titles than Peyton for four years, the brothers maintained mutual respect and never teased each other over their career achievements.
