Odell Beckham Jr. was listed as inactive for the Minnesota Vikings' Week 5 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Although Minnesota elevated the veteran wide receiver from their practice squad ahead of the game, he did not suit up after star receiver Justin Jefferson was cleared to play.
Beckham joined Minnesota after being released by the New York Giants, where he failed to record a reception across three regular-season games. Saturday's elevation counts as the first of three permitted elevations for Beckham before the Vikings must sign him to the 53-man roster.
