The New York Giants have placed defensive lineman Chauncey Golston on injured reserve due to a neck injury sustained in their victory against the Arizona Cardinals. Amid concerns that the issue could be a long-term setback, the team sought a second opinion before making the roster designation on October 10, 2026.
To address roster depth, the Giants elevated receiver Dalen Cambre and outside linebacker Trace Ford from the practice squad. Recently signed defensive lineman Jihad Ward is also positioned to make his return debut for New York along a front seven missing Brian Burns.
