Matt Judon’s release gives John Harbaugh another familiar face to consider as the New York Giants look for some much-needed pass-rush help.

Matt Sidney of GMEN HQ argues that the New York Giants should consider signing free-agent pass rusher Matt Judon following his release from the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad. Judon, who previously played five seasons under Giants head coach John Harbaugh in Baltimore, was cut by San Francisco after spending just 12 days with the franchise.
The writer notes that the Giants face edge rusher depth concerns following season-ending injuries to Brian Burns and Chauncey Golston. Sidney suggests that adding the 34-year-old veteran on a low-risk deal would provide experienced rotation snaps while also offering depth amid Kayvon Thibodeaux's early-season struggles.
