The New York Giants have placed inside linebacker Tremaine Edmunds on injured reserve due to a torn chest muscle and activated veteran cornerback Paulson Adebo from injured reserve. Edmunds, who led the team with 50 tackles through six games, will be replaced in the lineup by Micah McFadden. Adebo could potentially start Sunday's game against the Houston Texans with Greg Newsome II sidelined by a concussion.
Injuries continue to impact the Giants' roster, as starting safety Jevon Holland was ruled out with a concussion and tight end Theo Johnson will miss another game with a neck injury. To bolster depth, the team elevated wide receiver Jalin Hyatt and safety Raheem Layne from the practice squad.
