With the way Braelon Allen has been playing the last few weeks, it's going to be hard to justify benching him for rumored trade candidate Breece Hall.

Writer Charlie Baduini argues that running back Braelon Allen has earned the starting role for the New York Jets following several dominant performances filling in for the injured Breece Hall. In a recent game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Allen rushed 21 times for 147 yards and a touchdown, including an NFL season-high 121 rushing yards in the first half.
Baduini contends that Allen's recent surge makes it difficult to justify demoting him once Hall is healthy. With the November 10 NFL trade deadline approaching, the article notes growing trade speculation surrounding Hall, suggesting the struggling 2-6 Jets could consider dealing him if offered a third-round draft pick.
