The Cleveland Browns entered Week 5 with a 3-1 record for their matchup against the New York Jets, who were 1-3. But the Jets secured a 17-12 win at MetLife on Sunday, not only sinking the Browns’ record to 3-2…

Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver KC Concepcion reassured fans on social media that he is doing well after suffering a concussion in Week 5 against the New York Jets. The injury occurred late in the first quarter when Jets safety Minkah Fitzpatrick initiated helmet-to-helmet contact on a deep pass from quarterback Deshaun Watson, resulting in a personal foul penalty. Concepcion was subsequently ruled out of the game and entered the NFL's concussion protocol.
The Browns went on to lose 17-12 at MetLife Stadium, dropping their record to 3-2. Concepcion's availability for Week 6 remains uncertain, as the median recovery time in the protocol is nine days. Following the contest, Browns head coach Todd Monken defended Fitzpatrick, calling the collision an unfortunate "bang-bang play" and denying that the veteran safety is a dirty player.
