Kris Boyd has had another pop at Celtic supporters, but Chris Sutton wasn’t letting the former Rangers striker get away with his latest argument on Sky Sports.
Chris Sutton strongly challenged Kris Boyd on Sky Sports after the former Rangers striker questioned why Celtic supporters deserve a voice in how their club is run. Boyd interrupted a discussion regarding Celtic's leadership to ask why Celtic fans expect to have influence, arguing that most clubs are similar. Sutton disputed the comparison, contrasting Celtic's poor communication with Rangers' dialogue with their supporters.
Sutton also criticized Celtic's board and chief executive Michael Nicholson for leaving manager Martin O'Neill to address questions about protests and shareholder Dermot Desmond alone. The article notes that while Sutton disapproved of a tennis-ball protest directed at Desmond, he maintained that supporters have legitimate grievances and deserve communication from the hierarchy.
