Mitchell & Allen the First Jets Duo Each with 140+ Yards in Game Since 2013…

The New York Jets' offense delivered a dominant performance against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8, led by standout outings from receiver Adonai Mitchell and running back Braelon Allen. Mitchell recorded 142 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Allen rushed for 147 yards and posted 153 yards from scrimmage. The duo became the third running back and wide receiver pairing in franchise history to each record 140 or more yards in the same game.
New York scored points on its first six offensive possessions, the longest such streak to open a game in the NFL this season. Quarterback Geno Smith threw for 290 yards, while linebacker Jamien Sherwood and safety Dane Belton led the defensive effort with 14 and 12 tackles, respectively.
