New York Jets rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq has been voted the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for Week 3. Sadiq secured the honors following a standout performance in which he caught seven passes for 105 yards and a 24-yard touchdown from quarterback Geno Smith during a 31-24 loss to the Detroit Lions.
According to the Jets, Sadiq became the first rookie tight end in franchise history to record at least seven receptions, 105 receiving yards, and a touchdown in a single game. Across his first three career games, the Oregon product has totaled 12 catches for 143 yards, alongside one receiving touchdown and one rushing touchdown.
