Patriots WR A.J. Brown said his status for Sunday's game against the Jets is "still up in the air" after returning to practice this week.

New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown stated his playing status is still up in the air for Sunday's matchup against the New York Jets. Brown returned to practice in a limited capacity this week after missing time due to a right high-ankle sprain suffered in the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks. He noted head coach Mike Vrabel will ultimately decide his availability.
Brown aims to gradually increase his workload, taking a cautious approach ahead of a short week featuring a Thursday game against the Chicago Bears. The receiver also praised Coach Vrabel for permitting him to attend his wife's nursing school graduation during his early recovery and credited playing tag with his four-year-old son as personal motivation during rehabilitation.
