The Steelers have provided an important injury update on their $12.25 million star player ahead of the Week 6 matchup against the Buccaneers.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rico Dowdle returned to full practice participation on Thursday ahead of the Week 6 clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Dowdle had been sidelined since suffering a toe injury during a Week 2 loss against the New England Patriots, and his return puts him in line to play on Sunday.
Dowdle joined Pittsburgh on a two-year, $12.25 million contract this offseason. Despite his expected return, head coach Mike McCarthy confirmed that Jaylen Warren remains the featured running back following his AFC Offensive Player of the Week performance against the Indianapolis Colts.
