Following an injury to Landon Dickerson, Jurgens shifted from center to left guard, with Drew Kendall taking over at center. During a 27-7 loss to the Chicago Bears, Jurgens surrendered four pressures, the most among Philadelphia linemen, while Kendall allowed none.
Miller highlights that Jurgens holds an overall Pro Football Focus grade of 48.9 across four games, ranking 63rd among 73 qualified guards. The writer contends that Jurgens has become a liability at left guard and suggests the Eagles may need to bench him or start Willie Lampkin.
