The Eagles gave wide receiver Marquise Brown a fully guaranteed $5MM deal in free agency, but the investment has not panned out. With Brown barely a factor in the Eagles’ sputtering offense, teams around the NFL believe he could end…
NFL teams believe the Philadelphia Eagles could trade wide receiver Marquise Brown ahead of the Nov. 10 deadline, according to Jordan Schultz. Brown signed a fully guaranteed $5 million free agent deal in the offseason but has played only 17 offensive snaps and received zero targets through six weeks.
The Eagles' struggling offense ranks 29th in scoring and recently lost quarterback Jalen Hurts for the season due to blood clots. Although trading Brown would leave Philadelphia with $2.04 million in dead cap money, the team may seek draft compensation for the unused veteran.
