The Philadelphia Eagles announced five roster moves on Tuesday, highlighted by four transactions affecting the running back position. Carson Steele was waived/injured after hurting his shoulder in Week 6, and Jaydon Blue was waived from the active roster. Additionally, running back Ian Wheeler and center James Brockermeyer were released from the practice squad, while veteran running back Elijah Mitchell was signed to the practice squad.
Mitchell previously spent time with Philadelphia in training camp before being waived with an injury settlement. With Saquon Barkley sidelined by a hamstring injury and both Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley on injured reserve, Dameon Pierce is currently the only fully healthy running back on the Eagles' active 53-man roster.
