The Philadelphia Eagles released their Thursday injury report ahead of Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers, highlighted by wide receiver DeVonta Smith upgrading to limited participation after missing the last two games. Meanwhile, wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks was downgraded to did not participate due to a hamstring injury, placing his status for Sunday in serious doubt alongside several other sidelined teammates.
Starting quarterback Jalen Hurts will miss the contest due to a superficial blood clot, leaving Tanner McKee set to earn his third career start. Running back Saquon Barkley also missed practice with a hamstring issue and is projected to be out, leaving Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele as the primary backfield options for Philadelphia.
