Jonathan Greenard tries to have some perspective. He knows injuries are a part of football and he knows there are other players who have it much worse than him.But it still hurts to miss game action.“That’s the most frustrating part…

Philadelphia Eagles edge rusher Jonathan Greenard is set to make his return from an ankle injury on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. Greenard, who missed the previous game in London, has no injury designation for Week 6 and expressed eager determination to make an impact despite an injury-plagued season.
After arriving via a draft-weekend trade and signing a $98 million contract, Greenard has been limited to just 37 defensive snaps due to a preseason pectoral strain and a subsequent ankle injury. His return provides crucial depth, as fellow edge rushers Jalyx Hunt is out and A.J. Epenesa is listed as doubtful.
