After their Week 8 loss to the Washington Commanders, the Philadelphia Eagles are still staying in the headlines with some news regarding them.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed that Tanner McKee will remain the starting quarterback despite three straight losses and a 27-10 defeat against the Washington Commanders. Meanwhile, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio addressed the struggles of pass rusher Jonathan Greenard, attributing his slow start to missed practice time, training camp absence, and recurring injuries during the 2026 season.
Sirianni also defended offensive line coach Chris Kuper amid line instability following multiple injuries and Lane Johnson's retirement. Additionally, the team waived cornerback Jakorian Bennett from injured reserve, released wide receiver Quentin Skinner from the practice squad, and announced plans to wear throwback Kelly Green uniforms against the New York Giants.
