“I Don’t Comment on Things Like This”: Jason Kelce Speaks Out in Support of 2X Eagles Super Bowl-Winning Coach Fired by Saints

Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce publicly defended coach T.J. Paganetti after the New Orleans Saints fired him as run game coordinator. Saints head coach Kellen Moore parted ways with Paganetti following the team's 2-5 start and persistent ground struggles. Kelce praised Paganetti on X as an outstanding, driven coach who played a major role in Philadelphia's offensive line success.

New Orleans ranked 28th in rushing yards and 30th in yards per carry through the 2026 season prior to the dismissal. Paganetti previously won two Super Bowls on Philadelphia's staff before joining the Saints in 2025. Saints guard David Edwards also addressed the exit, expressing regret and noting that players shared responsibility for poor execution.
