Eagles plan on LB rotation between Trotter Jr. and Campbell

Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio announced that the team plans to implement a linebacker rotation between Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and Jihaad Campbell. The two will share snaps alongside starter Zack Baun moving forward. Trotter had missed defensive action on Sunday after being ejected following the opening kickoff, but Fangio stated that rotational playing time remains the plan.

Fangio noted that Trotter earned the playing time following an impressive 15-tackle performance in Week 4 against the Rams. The defensive coordinator explained that the rotation will be decided by series rather than by specific game situations, and he dismissed concerns that splitting reps would negatively affect Campbell's development.
