ESPN analyst Ben Solak predicted Tuesday that the Philadelphia Eagles will trade cornerback Riq Woolen to the Chicago Bears ahead of the 2026 NFL trade deadline.
ESPN analyst Ben Solak has projected that the Philadelphia Eagles will trade cornerback Riq Woolen to the Chicago Bears ahead of the 2026 NFL trade deadline on November 10. The 2-4 Eagles may look to move veteran assets on expiring deals rather than wait for compensatory draft picks. Woolen signed a one-year, approximately $12 million contract with Philadelphia in the spring.
Solak argues that the Bears are an ideal trade destination due to their defensive need for cornerback depth in coordinator Dennis Allen's man-coverage scheme. Woolen has started six games for Philadelphia this season, tallying 24 tackles and four passes defended. Solak also suggested the Eagles could trade up to three players before the deadline, including Saquon Barkley.
