Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles rejected a guaranteed $150,000 endorsement offer from Disney hours before playing in Super Bowl LII. Speaking on the Real Deal with Tony Reali podcast, reporter Peter King recounted that Foles refused to sign pre-game commercial deals, explaining that he did not want anything to distract his focus from the championship matchup.
Foles also turned down overtures from Jimmy Fallon and The Today Show prior to kickoff. After leading Philadelphia to victory over the New England Patriots and earning Super Bowl MVP honors, Foles subsequently agreed to participate in Disney's iconic post-game commercial campaign and visited Disney World.
