Five straight losses have the Eagles looking down the barrel of a lost season, but…

The 2-5 Philadelphia Eagles travel to face the 1-4-1 Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium on Sunday night, hoping to end a five-game losing streak. Philadelphia, currently starting quarterback Tanner McKee following Jalen Hurts' placement on injured reserve, previously defeated Washington 24-22 in Week 1. Washington enters the matchup rested coming off a bye week with quarterback Jayden Daniels leading the offense.
McKee will lead an Eagles offense that expects running back Saquon Barkley to play through hamstring and back injuries, though wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks missed Thursday's practice. Washington's defense blitzes on 44% of defensive snaps but has allowed touchdowns on 82% of opponent red zone trips this season.
