Every Eagles game lately comes down to one or two plays they either make or don't. Don't view them as anything other than 2-3.
Geoff Mosher argues that the Philadelphia Eagles should not be excused as being just two plays away from a 4-1 record following their 19-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. Mosher asserts that head coach Nick Sirianni's squad is a genuinely mediocre football team on a three-game losing streak rather than an elite contender suffering from unfortunate breaks.
According to Mosher, Philadelphia's offense has regressed significantly to rank 31st in total yards, while injuries and second-half collapses continue to plague the roster. While players such as Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith are expected to return from injury, Mosher contends the team's ongoing struggles reflect sustained mediocrity rather than bad luck.
