Joey Porter Jr. delivered a clean coverage debut for the Dallas Cowboys, while the Pittsburgh Steelers begin measuring the cost of moving him.

Joey Porter Jr. allowed zero receptions on one target in his Dallas Cowboys debut as Dallas defeated Houston 34-30 on Sunday. The appearance came just four days after the Pittsburgh Steelers traded the 26-year-old cornerback to Dallas. Still Curtain argues the strong performance gives Pittsburgh an immediate reason to regret the move after shipping him away for future draft capital.
Pittsburgh traded Porter in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick. Following the trade, the Steelers will lean on younger cornerbacks such as rookie Daylen Everette, while Dallas prepares Porter for an expanded role against Tampa Bay on Thursday night.
