The Pittsburgh Steelers’ 2026 season is off to a hot-and-cold start, and Mina Kimes thinks that theme will continue the rest of the year. Reacting to the team’s 27-24 loss to the Cleveland Browns, Kimes predicts the Steelers will continue…

ESPN analyst Mina Kimes predicted that the Pittsburgh Steelers will remain inconsistent throughout the 2026 NFL season following their 27-24 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Speaking on The Golics, Kimes argued that there is a cap on the team's potential, noting that quarterback Aaron Rodgers is unlikely to string together multiple elite performances at this point in his career despite showing occasional flashes.
Steelers Depot's Alex Kozora supported Kimes' assessment, observing that Pittsburgh's 2-2 start aligns with preseason projections of a borderline .500 campaign. The analysis highlighted mounting issues, including road struggles, injury concerns for Jamel Dean and Derrick Harmon, and pass protection problems that currently have Rodgers on pace to absorb a career-high 55 sacks.
