San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy was named the FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week following a 36-30 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Purdy threw for a season-high 297 yards and four touchdowns on 15-of-27 passing, compiling a 133.8 passer rating alongside 34 rushing yards.
The performance followed Purdy's NFC Offensive Player of the Week honor from Week 2. He reached nine touchdown passes through the opening three games, setting a franchise record and surpassing previous marks held by Frankie Albert and Steve Young.
