“I’m Getting Choked Up”: 49ers’ Kyle Juszczyk’s Wife Kristin Gets Emotional While Remembering Her Mother’s Battle With Cancer

Kristin Juszczyk, designer and wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, became emotional while reflecting on her mother's battle with cancer. Her mother passed away when Kristin was 18 years old after facing cancer recurrences throughout Kristin's childhood. In response, Juszczyk is urging women and families to openly discuss health risks, understand recurrence, and perform regular self-exams.

To raise awareness, Juszczyk partnered with Novartis on the Understand eBC Risk campaign to educate patients about early breast cancer recurrence risks. Her advocacy also includes donating nearly $75,000 from an auctioned Super Bowl LVIII puffer vest to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, as well as collaborating with Athleta to support Susan G. Komen.
