The NFL have further punished San Francisco 49ers star Dre Greenlaw after he continued his violent start to the season with a sucker punch to the helmet of Falcons star Drake London.

The NFL fined San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw $12,537 for unnecessary roughness after he punched Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London in the helmet. The incident occurred during the Falcons' 29-20 victory over San Francisco, Greenlaw's first appearance following a one-game suspension.
Greenlaw had just served a ban and forfeited a $200,000 game check for headbutting Seattle Seahawks player Ernest Jones IV in Week 5. Although Greenlaw claimed he intended to punch the football loose, replays captured the blow, prompting league discipline ahead of San Francisco's Week 8 matchup.
