The San Francisco 49ers activated veteran wide receiver Christian Kirk off injured reserve ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Kirk, who missed the start of the regular season due to a training camp calf injury, is set to make his team debut on Sunday. His return provides a boost for a short-handed receiving corps missing Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel.
With Kirk's activation, San Francisco will dress four wide receivers, including Jordan Watkins, Brandin Cooks, and Jacob Cowing. The team also elevated defensive lineman Ogbo Okoronkwo and linebacker Jalen Graham from the practice squad. Nick Bosa, Marques Sigle, Luke Gifford, and Garret Wallow have also been ruled out for Week 7.
