San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans brings more to the offense than his ability to win contested catches. His size and physicality create problems for defensive backs. But his performance against the Denver Broncos showed how much he's willing…

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan praised wide receiver Mike Evans for his physical style of play and toughness. Speaking to Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area, Shanahan highlighted Evans' ability to overcome press coverage and fight through a painful rib injury to help quarterback Brock Purdy against tough opponents.
Evans played through the rib issue during San Francisco's 24-14 win over the Denver Broncos, leading the team with five catches for 76 yards. Shanahan noted that Evans' physicality will be essential in their upcoming game against the physical Seattle Seahawks defense.
